The System for Acquisition Management is the registration portal required that allows Storage On Site to do business with the federal government. Storage On Site is a registered supplier in SAM and has a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and Unique Entity ID at sam.gov.
This registration allows us to pursue contracts with any agency of the U.S. government or any military branch. Contracting officers and agency personnel are able to accept our bids and review our capabilities because we are registered as a trustworthy supplier in SAM.
Storage On Site, as a SAM-registered business is ready to connect with procurement decision-makers, such as contracting officers.
Registration is not only the first step to being listed as a U.S. government supplier. It’s also necessary for small business certifications. Storage On Site has submitted an application to earn the HUBZone SBA Certification.
The HUBZone program fuels small business growth in historically underutilized business zones with a goal of awarding at least 3% of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year. The government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses in historically underutilized business zones.

Storage On Site has on staff a VI licensed Professional Engineer, Kim Slodden. Kim’s previous work in two VI government agencies as an engineer and a design and construction manager, along with her experience as an employee of the State of New York as an Environmental Engineer in the Department of Environmental Conservation, gives Storage On Site the ability to bring engineering knowledge and skill to the table.
Storage on Site brings grant project management experience with both local and federal projects with particular knowledge of environmental constraints and impacts. Storage On Site believes a collaborative partnership with all stakeholders (government clients, DPNR, and skilled trades) along with significant upfront planning reduces overall project cost and timelines while increasing client satisfaction.
